About the role#
We are looking for a Corporate & Public Affairs Intern to join our team in Indianapolis. This internship provides hands-on experience within our Customer Service and Support department. You will support the efficiency of the Corporate and Public Affairs team while gaining practical professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the Investment Collaboration on Neighborhoods (ICON) loan processes by drafting response templates and archiving documents on the company share drive.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with links to reference documents.
- Manage community outreach tasks, including scheduling presentations, creating agendas, and maintaining the event calendar.
- Set up outreach tables and manage online signup sheets and post-event surveys.
- Coordinate Citizens Stakeholder Alliance meetings and assist with identifying new outreach services.
- Attend corporate events, community volunteer opportunities, and help standardize administrative processes for Community Resource Day.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program for communication, public relations, philanthropy, event planning, business, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with project management and survey software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs.
