About the role#
CID Design Group offers interior design internships at our studio in Naples, Florida. This is a paid, full-time position available on a rolling basis for summer, fall, and spring terms. You will work alongside project managers and designers on renovation and new development projects.
What you'll do#
- Select artwork, paint plans, and color schemes.
- Calculate square footage take-offs using BlueBeam and AutoCAD.
- Assist the FFE team during group project installations.
- Check product availability and pricing by contacting vendors.
- Order samples and coordinate design features.
- Review interior construction documents with team leaders.
- Research demographics and psychographics to inform design plans.
- Help the creative department prepare presentations and assist with space planning.
- Attend internal project kick-off meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited interior design program, having completed your junior year.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A curious, open-minded approach and a willingness to learn.
- A portfolio including drawing sets, rendered views, and details on your specific role in past projects.
