About the role#
This undergraduate internship provides hands-on experience in agronomy operations. You will work on-site in Othello, Washington, in a role designated as safety-sensitive under state law. This position is paid and full-time.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills, including crop scouting, product mixing, and delivery procedures.
- Operate seed and agronomy equipment.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Perform housecleaning tasks to ensure a compliant work environment.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for vehicles, sprayers, conveyors, and other machinery.
- Support customers and provide service as needed.
- Follow all state, local, and company safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen that includes marijuana.
