About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the farming industry. You will work on-site in Morris, Illinois, to support daily agronomy and seed operations. This is a paid, full-time role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills, including crop scouting, nutrient management, and crop protection products.
- Perform daily seed and agronomy operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain quality standards.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, and conveyors.
- Provide customer service to support our local clients.
- Maintain a clean work environment that follows safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
