About the role#
As a Grain Originator Intern in Circle, Montana, you will work directly with our full-time Grain Originator. This hands-on position focuses on the daily operations of grain procurement and producer relations. You will gain exposure to how our business supports local agriculture and helps move grain to market.
What you'll do#
- Procure grain from local producers and reach out to new accounts.
- Update producers on market trends, current grain quotes, and marketing plans.
- Draft and process purchasing contracts with high accuracy.
- Support the grain origination team with rail billing and sales settlements.
- Coordinate with elevator and office staff to keep grain moving efficiently.
- Provide professional customer service to our patrons.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Previous experience or background knowledge in agriculture, crops, or grain is helpful.
- Past internship experience is beneficial but not required.

- Location: Circle, Montana.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
