About the role#
We are hiring a Feed Mill Operations Intern to join our team in Corsica, South Dakota. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role. You will work with our customers to provide service and information while gaining hands-on experience in feed manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Learn to operate feed manufacturing equipment safely.
- Follow quality assurance programs for receiving ingredients, loading, and bagging.
- Sequence, record, and document feed production during your shift.
- Maintain production and FDA records by entering data into Excel.
- Mix and prepare livestock feeds to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Help management with inventory planning, production scheduling, and control.
- Load and unload trucks safely.
- Assist customers and handle general facility tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an agricultural degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
