About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Colton, South Dakota. You will work on-site during the Winter and Summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in agronomy while working alongside industry professionals to support our operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection, crop nutrients, and seed management.
- Assist with custom application and mixing procedures.
- Deliver products and operate trucks as needed.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Handle facility cleaning and organization.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, floaters, conveyors, and vehicles.
- Provide customer service and ensure all work follows state, local, and company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous agriculture experience or internship background is helpful but not required.
