About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the agricultural sector. You will work alongside professionals to support core operations, learn about crop protection and nutrient products, and assist in the daily functions of an agronomy facility. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity that runs during the Winter and Summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills, including crop scouting, product application, and mixing procedures.
- Perform daily seed and agronomy operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and manage record keeping.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and support to our clients.
- Maintain a safe work environment that follows all local and company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery such as tractors, loaders, conveyors, and track mobiles.
- Availability to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A CDL license and forklift certification are preferred but not required.
