About the role#
This paid internship offers you the chance to gain practical experience in agronomy operations. You will work with experienced professionals to support agriculture, build your leadership skills, and see how our business functions. The role is based in Mitchell, South Dakota, and is available for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills including crop scouting, product delivery, and mixing procedures.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain organized records.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide service to customers and help them as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment that follows all state, local, and company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- An agriculture background or previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
