About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Herman, Minnesota. You will work on-site to gain practical skills in agronomy operations. The position is available for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. You will work with experienced professionals to support agriculture operations and serve our customers.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection, seed handling, and nutrient products.
- Manage custom application procedures, mixing, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and manage record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety and environmental policies.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, trucks, floaters, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and support to our clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery including tractors, loaders, track mobiles, and conveyors.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A CDL license and forklift certification are preferred.
