About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of our agriculture facilities. This role involves learning core agronomy skills, working alongside experienced professionals, and supporting our customers. The position is full-time and paid, with opportunities starting in Spring 2027 and continuing through Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection, nutrient products, and seed handling.
- Assist with custom application and mixing procedures, as well as truck driving and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and manage record-keeping and facility cleaning.
- Help with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and ensure all work follows state, local, and company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful.
- Previous internship experience is beneficial but not required.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in either Ruthton, Minnesota, or Winner, South Dakota.
- The internship is a full-time commitment.
