About the role#
We are hiring an Agronomy Operations Intern to work on-site in Loomis, Nebraska. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term. You will work directly with our customers to provide service and information.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection, crop nutrients, and seed management.
- Handle custom application procedures, mixing, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Manage facility cleaning processes.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Help customers with their needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture is helpful.
- Past internship experience is a plus.
