About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Watertown, South Dakota. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in agronomy operations. The role is available for the Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms, with start dates flexible based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills, including crop scouting, product application, and mixing procedures.
- Manage and monitor inventory quality.
- Handle facility housecleaning and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and loaders.
- Deliver products and provide direct service to our customers.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies to maintain a compliant work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery such as tractors, loaders, and conveyors.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A CDL license and forklift certification are preferred.
