About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Garretson, South Dakota. You will work on-site during the Winter and Summer of 2027. You will gain practical experience in agronomy while working alongside industry professionals to support local farming operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection, and nutrient management.
- Handle seed operations and assist with custom application and product mixing.
- Operate vehicles and deliver products to customers.
- Maintain inventory quality and manage facility record keeping.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like conveyors, sprayers, and trucks.
- Provide customer service and ensure all work follows environmental and safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- A background in agriculture is helpful but not required.
- Previous internship experience is beneficial.
