About the role#
We are looking for an Agronomy Operations Intern to join our team in Elkton, South Dakota. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2026 term. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in the agriculture industry while supporting our daily operations and customer service efforts.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills including crop scouting, seed management, and the use of crop protection and nutrient products.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain product quality.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment such as trucks, sprayers, and conveyors.
- Provide customer service and support to our clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment that follows all company and local safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- A background in agriculture is helpful but not required.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
