Agronomy Intern

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Milton, North Dakota. You will work with the Country Operations Division to provide service and information to cooperative customers. This role involves learning operational systems, facility maintenance, and safety compliance while supporting the agronomy team.

What you'll do#

• Assist Agronomy Production Sales Specialists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem-solving.
• Apply integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
• Create and present written reports to supervisors and customers.
• Learn features and benefits of agronomy products and services to assist with over-the-counter sales and product delivery.
• Perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations, including inventory management using Agris systems.
• Maintain equipment and facilities while adhering to environmental and safety policies.
• Assist with custom application and other departments as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Background or experience in agriculture.
• Previous internship experience.
• Commercial Application Certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
