About the role#
As an Agronomy Intern at the Milton, North Dakota location, you will work with Country Operations Cooperative customers to provide high-quality service and technical information. This role involves assisting the team with field operations, inventory management, and customer support.
What you'll do#
- Assist Agronomy Production Sales Specialists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving field agronomic problems.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Generate and present written reports to supervisors and customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of agronomy products and services.
- Assist with over-the-counter sales and product delivery.
- Perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations, including inventory management.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following environmental and safety policies.
- Assist with custom application tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous agriculture experience or background.
- Completion of a previous internship.
- Commercial Application Certification.
