About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the Ag Retail division. You will work with cooperative customers to provide service and information while supporting daily facility operations in Strasburg, North Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Interact with patrons in a professional manner to ensure high quality customer service.
- Manage loadout functions and operate automatic scale and dump systems.
- Blend products according to prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor the quality of inventory and blended goods.
- Load and unload trucks and operate heavy equipment as needed.
- Keep the facility clean and follow all safety policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- A background in agriculture is helpful, though not required.
- Prior internship experience is preferred but not mandatory.
