About the role#
The Student CRA I participates in clinical research activities to support one or more studies. This role provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of research protocols, project developments, and clinical issues within a pediatric hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the recruitment and consent process for parents and children.
- Collect data through study participant screenings and interviews.
- Analyze research data using memos, coding, and qualitative analytic software.
- Assist in preparing materials for IRB approval submissions.
- Support the preparation of professional research papers and reports.
- Provide age-appropriate care and services based on the developmental needs of patients.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one prior internship or paid experience in clinical research.
- General knowledge and understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in an organized manner and collaborate well with others.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications is desirable.
