About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Public Relations and Development team at Child and Family Services of Erie County. This is an unpaid position intended for college credit.
What you'll do#
- Write press releases, media advisories, and articles for the organization website and intranet.
- Create graphic design materials including flyers, banners, brochures, and social media content.
- Assist with internal and external messaging and pitch story ideas to the media.
- Support donor prospecting and manage donor portfolios using Raiser's Edge software.
- Help process in-kind gifts and facilitate donor relationships.
- Assist with event organization, meeting preparation, and donation drives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program focused on Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
- Enrollment in a credit-bearing program.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule while working on-site during standard business hours.
