About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will join our technology team to build tools that help traders and quants price, trade, and manage risk. You will work on real-world coding problems and see your code reach production. The program lasts eight weeks and includes mentorship, classroom learning, and social activities. You will work alongside other interns in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Deliver a technical project as a Software Engineering Associate.
- Gain hands-on experience with trading technology.
- Receive mentorship from technology team members.
- Participate in classroom learning experiences, including courses on options, market making, and our quant framework.
- Collaborate with team members to design, solve, and test complex coding problems.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively.
- Interest in technology and trading.

- This is an on-site internship based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The program runs for eight weeks from mid-June to early August 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
