About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will experience life as an engineer on our technology teams. You will work alongside software engineers to design, solve, and test complex coding problems that deliver solutions to our trading tools and risk applications. You will build the tools that traders and quants rely on to price, trade, and manage risk in real time. Your work will involve frequent release cycles, allowing you to see your code reach production and impact the desk quickly. You will also participate in classroom learning experiences, including courses on options, market making, and our quantitative framework.

What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
- A strong foundation in data structures, object-oriented programming, and algorithms.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both written and verbally.
- A deep curiosity and interest in technology, trading, pricing, and risk management.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States.
- Term: Summer 2027 (8-week program from mid-June to early August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: Monthly salary of $14,500 plus a signing bonus.
