About the role#
As a Quant Trading Intern, you will take on an impactful role that mirrors that of a full-time Quant Trading Associate. You will join a team for the summer to complete project work and identify trading opportunities while collaborating with software engineers, quants, traders, and risk managers. This 8-week program provides an inward look at the firm and includes structured classroom learning, such as a Basics of Options class and a Quant Curriculum. You will receive mentorship from trading and quant team members and have weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager to support your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Perform work mirroring a full-time Quant Trading Associate.
- Gain hands-on experience with trading and exposure to trading technology.
- Participate in classroom learning experiences including a Basics of Options class and a Quant Curriculum.
- Receive regular mentorship from trading and quant team members.
- Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- A demonstrated record of success in academics or other achievements.
- Basic programming skills or a willingness to learn Python.
- Ability to participate in the full 8-week program from mid-June to early August 2027.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills for sharing sophisticated ideas.
