About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Spring 2028 term. You will work directly with our tax team in Houston.
What you'll do#
- Support multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements.
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals at all levels of the firm.
- Participate in team building, training initiatives, and social functions.
- Complete and present a marketing or research project.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting, finance, or business administration program.
- You should be two years away from graduation.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Houston, Texas.
- Compensation is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
