About the role#
This Summer 2028 Tax Internship in Louisville provides a look into the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors on various client engagements and shadow tax professionals at all levels. The role includes team building, training initiatives, and a specific marketing or research project that you will present to the team.
What you'll do#
- Apply accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Participate in social functions including lunches, happy hours, and community service projects.
- Assist with a variety of client engagements under the direction of multiple supervisors.
- Develop your professional skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, roughly two years from graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites, which includes frequent same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without firm sponsorship.
