About the role#
The Financial & Accounting Outsourcing team at Cherry Bekaert is looking for an intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Nashville, Tennessee. You will work directly with team members and clients to support project goals, manage expectations, and gain experience with various electronic accounting tools.
What you'll do#
- Conduct quantitative analysis using MS Excel.
- Create accounting workflow and process flowcharts.
- Draft accounting policies and procedures documentation for client businesses.
- Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statement reconciliations.
- Support regulatory compliance tasks and excel modeling.
- Help document client assessments and prepare recommendations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and teamwork capabilities.

- Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
