About the role#
Our Club Management Rotational Internship offers a hands-on experience across multiple departments. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the private club industry. We customize this program to meet your specific goals and interests to help prepare you for a career in club management.
What you'll do#
- Experience all aspects of club operations.
- Work in front line roles through team leadership and operations.
- Rotate through departments including food and beverage, culinary, golf, tennis, agronomy, and communications.
- Attend weekly meetings and CMAA education sessions.
- Participate in area club tours, networking events, and leadership development programs.
- Gain direct access to club leadership.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs, climbing stairs, and working in all seasonal weather conditions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year Hospitality Program.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a high-end professional environment.
- A desire to create memorable experiences for members.
- A positive, honest, respectful, and dedicated attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
- Candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

Charlotte Country Club is a private club established in 1910. It is located in the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The property features an 18-hole golf course, extensive tennis facilities, and a pool complex. A 68,000 square foot clubhouse serves as the center of the grounds.
