About the role#
Centific is seeking candidates for its PhD Research Internship Program. This role is designed for students who are passionate about solving real-world problems by pushing the boundaries of technology. Interns will delve into industry advancements in fields such as NLP, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of AI and machine learning industry projects and innovative solutions.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD or MS program with a focus on NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs, VLMs, or Responsible AI.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Expertise in PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Expertise in one or more of the following: RAG, Vector DBs, or LLM fine-tuning.
- A strong understanding of Transformer Architecture.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in the United States.
- The role is full-time and paid at a rate of $40 per hour.
- The internship follows a rolling schedule.
