School Based Intern

About the role#

Centerstone Cleveland is seeking interns to support school-based staff throughout the school year. This is an unpaid, part-time, on-site internship. Interns will work under the supervision of a School Based Team Leader, Clinical Supervisor, or Therapist to provide mental health services.

What you'll do#

• Provide assessment, case coordination, and individual, group, and family counseling.
• Plan and lead at least one weekly group activity, including resource research and documentation.
• Maintain treatment plans and ensure all clinical documentation meets 24-hour standards.
• Participate in new hire orientation and complete all required Centerstone training.
• Shadow school-based staff to understand clinical expectations and attend weekly supervision.

What you'll need#

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
• Status as a student in good standing.
• Ability to effectively communicate through written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods.
