About the role#
Centerstone Cleveland is seeking interns to support school-based staff throughout the school year. This is an unpaid, part-time, on-site internship. Interns will work under the supervision of a School Based Team Leader, Clinical Supervisor, or Therapist to provide mental health services.
What you'll do#
- Provide assessment, case coordination, and individual, group, and family counseling.
- Plan and lead at least one weekly group activity, including resource research and documentation.
- Maintain treatment plans and ensure all clinical documentation meets 24-hour standards.
- Participate in new hire orientation and complete all required Centerstone training.
- Shadow school-based staff to understand clinical expectations and attend weekly supervision.
What you'll need#
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
- Status as a student in good standing.
- Ability to effectively communicate through written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods.
