About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in mental health care within a nonprofit health system. Interns will support clinical operations and engage with diverse client populations across various service settings.
What you'll do#
- Deliver mental health care services to clients.
- Assist in the provision of substance use disorder treatments.
- Provide support for both outpatient and inpatient programs.
- Engage directly with diverse client populations.
- Participate in ongoing staff training and development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Psychology, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- A genuine interest in the field of behavioral health.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Capability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of clients.
