About the role#
The Campus Intern program provides students with the opportunity to gain professional experience while working from their university campus. This role focuses on enhancing the technology footprint at Illinois State University by serving as a bridge between the university and CDW. Interns receive four weeks of paid training and ongoing mentorship from a dedicated program manager and sales team. This is a year-round position that allows for a flexible schedule to accommodate academic workloads.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a liaison between the CDW sales team, the university, and technology partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers across various university departments.
- Research technology trends to identify strategic opportunities for the university.
- Educate existing customers on the CDW partnership and the value offered to the institution.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including job shadowing, webinars, and vendor-sponsored events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in an undergraduate program at Illinois State University.
- Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, or Psychology.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong organization and time management skills to work in an independent environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote (Illinois State University campus).
- Schedule: 15-25 hours per week during standard business hours, year-round.
- Compensation: $15.85 per hour.
