About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Wealth Management Internship for Summer 2027 based in Sacramento, California. You will work directly with a Certified Financial Planner to learn the practical side of financial planning and wealth management. This is an on-site role that runs from June through August.
What you'll do#
- Support client meetings, including preparation and follow-up tasks.
- Help gather client information and build retirement plans.
- Draft reports for client accounts and retirement plans.
- Learn to use internal portfolio management systems.
- Conduct internal and client-specific research projects.
- Assist client services and administrative teams as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
- A major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Strong interest in financial planning and an intent to pursue the CFP designation after graduation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work with multiple reporting relationships.

- Compensation: $17.00 to $24.00 per hour.
