About the role#
The Dealer Support Coordinator Student plays a vital role in the operational execution of the Dealer Changeover process for Canadian Tire Retail and Party City locations. This position manages the administrative and logistical activities required to transfer store operations, inventory, and assets between outgoing and incoming Associate Dealers. You will support the full changeover cycle, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all store transitions.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate procedures, documentation, and information for the Dealer Changeover process.
- Support the preparation, execution, and monitoring of communications to Associate Dealers.
- Develop and maintain store-specific critical paths, including tracking stakeholders and timelines.
- Prepare financial documentation related to assets to inform transaction finalization.
- Support data collection, entry, and verification for inventory and fixed assets.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort gathering, organizing, and performing data analysis.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
