About the role#
The AI Automation Student supports the evaluation, redesign, and continuous improvement of core business processes for Mark's Commercial. This role combines process improvement with hands-on experience using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools to build automated workflows. You will work across various business units to identify inefficiencies and implement digital solutions that improve scalability and performance.
What you'll do#
- Partner with business leaders to document and assess current-state processes end-to-end.
- Analyze performance data to establish baseline metrics such as cycle time, cost, and service levels.
- Incorporate AI, automation, and digital tools into process design.
- Support the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Create Power BI dashboards to monitor process performance and business outcomes.
- Develop standard operating procedures and supporting documentation for redesigned processes.
- Collaborate with IT, Data, and Digital teams regarding enterprise integrations and governance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- An interest in AI and automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot is considered an asset.
