About the role#
This internship supports the Transport and Cybersecurity Services contract for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. You will join a CACI program team to gain hands-on experience with network modernization and cybersecurity operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist an engineering team in designing and supporting network modernization solutions throughout the project life cycle.
- Monitor and oversee task completion under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians in a team environment.
- Travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as needed.
- Handle light materials, boxes, or equipment as part of daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or status as a graduating high school senior with demonstrated academic achievement.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Technical knowledge of data network communications and computer operations, with experience in Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba considered a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- This role is located in Springfield, Virginia.
- Work is 100% on-site.
- This is a part-time internship for Summer 2027.
