Actuarial Intern (ECH-ON)

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Summer 2026 Actuarial Intern position based on-site in Thornhill, Ontario. This role is designed for students pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Finance who are looking to gain practical experience in the insurance industry.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the development of actuarial models and projections.
• Provide analytical support for pricing and risk assessments.
• Participate in data collection and analysis for reports.
• Collaborate with team members on various actuarial projects.
• Contribute to the documentation and presentation of actuarial findings.

What you'll need#

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other statistical analysis tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of actuarial principles.
