About the role#
Bybit is seeking a Golang Development Engineer Intern to join our backend engineering team. This is a full-time, remote internship opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications, Data Science, Mathematics, or Cybersecurity. This role requires a commitment of 5 days per week for a minimum of 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design and development of backend systems using Go for microservices.
- Analyze system bottlenecks and drive product performance tuning.
- Contribute to the development of common components, middleware, and frameworks.
- Work closely with Frontend, QA, and Product teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Monitor live system performance and provide rapid resolutions for incidents.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Computer Networking, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Familiarity with Golang and its concurrency models, such as Goroutines, Channels, and Context.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with databases like MySQL and Redis.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in both English and Chinese.
