About the role#
BVA Bear's IT Solutions is looking for a motivated Digital Solutions Intern to support our public website and internal digital tools. You will work with experienced IT professionals to maintain our web presence and build business applications. This role offers hands-on experience with web technologies, business intelligence, and low-code platforms.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the stability and performance of our WordPress and Elementor website.
- Perform regular backups and apply updates to keep the site secure.
- Manage DNS configurations and update names after domain migrations.
- Troubleshoot compatibility issues, update themes and plugins, and optimize site performance.
- Monitor for issues and fix them to reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain internal business applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Apps Portals.
- Create and update Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Work with business users and the IT team to identify process improvements.
- Test, troubleshoot, and document Power Platform solutions and website enhancements.
What you'll need#
- You must be a U.S. citizen. You will need to provide proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate, U.S. passport, or Certificate of Naturalization, before starting the role.
- A motivated mindset and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred.
