About the role#
Building Crafts, Inc. is hiring a Field Co-op to support construction projects in the water and wastewater treatment industry. You will work directly under the Project Superintendent and foremen to gain practical experience. This role involves hands-on training and requires you to work with tools on-site.
What you'll do#
- Maintain daily jobsite and production logs.
- Track deliveries, stored materials, equipment hours, and other project records.
- Assist with the placement of forms for footings, walls, columns, and decks.
- Coordinate with crews to ensure successful concrete pours.
- Maintain tools and equipment to keep them in safe, working order.
- Work with pipe laborers and millwrights on underground and process piping.
- Attend meetings with subcontractors, engineers, and owners.
- Assist with estimating tasks and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for civil engineering, environmental engineering, or construction management. We will consider applicants with field experience in place of a degree.
- Prior internship or co-op experience is helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Physical ability to stand, climb, bend, and kneel for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions and terrains.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid role with a rolling term.
