About the role#
We are hiring a Customer Service Intern for the summer of 2027 in Owatonna, Minnesota. You will work with our Field Service team to gain experience in customer support operations, technical documentation, and process improvement. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain instructional or training videos by planning, scripting, recording, and editing content with subject-matter experts.
- Edit manuals to improve clarity, structure, terminology, and formatting.
- Develop and maintain calculators by gathering data, building logic, and documenting functionality.
- Observe processes to create and revise standard operating procedures while meeting safety and quality requirements.
- Map workflows to identify inefficiencies and support improvement projects.
- Conduct workplace audits, manage 5S activities, and develop visual controls.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with numbers and basic Excel formulas.
- Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and document workplace processes.
- Basic experience with video-editing software is a plus.
