About the role#
Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is hiring an Accounting Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will work within the Finance Reporting department to provide technical support and complete specialized projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform research and analysis for special projects.
- Assist with the planning and execution of assigned tasks.
- Deliver high-quality work on a timely basis.
- Work with other departments to ensure your projects align with company business goals.
- Use advanced systems and software to complete technical assignments.
- Participate on cross-company teams as requested by management.
What you'll need#
- You must hold a high school diploma and be actively working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- One year of general work experience is desired.
- Advanced education in a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and keep information confidential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software systems.
- Familiarity with church operations is required to serve our target market effectively.
