About the role#
The CPA Student role offers an opportunity to build a foundation in accounting and finance within a large-scale operating platform. What you'll do#
- Support tax compliance, reporting, planning, and transaction-related matters across the business.
- Work alongside the tax team to understand tax considerations of operating and investing across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with analysis, documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Contribute to accounting functions.
- Drive modern workflow automation.
- Collaborate directly with experienced leaders.
What you'll need#
- Third-year student status working toward an undergraduate degree and pre-requisites for the CPA Professional Education Program.
- Strong interest in pursuing a CPA designation in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative through classes, projects, past employment, case competitions, or volunteer activities.
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, develop business relationships, and multitask.
- A willingness to embrace company core values.
Location & details#
- Location: Gatineau, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office.
