About the role#
This opportunity combines the Finance & Accounting Emerging Leaders Program (FELP) Summit and the Summer 2028 Finance Internship. The FELP Summit is a two-day event in Marlborough, Massachusetts, designed to introduce participants to Boston Scientific through leadership development, networking, and team-building. Attendees will explore career paths in finance and accounting, engage with company leaders, and participate in an internship interview on the final day. Selected participants for the Summer 2028 Finance Internship will join a 12-week paid program to gain hands-on experience in accounting, internal audit, treasury, or financial planning and analysis.
What you'll do#
- Join a team within accounting, internal audit, treasury, or financial planning and analysis.
- Work on projects where your findings or solutions are implemented into the business.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other financial systems to organize, analyze, and interpret data.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance-related projects.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Present your findings or recommendations to Finance leadership.
- Build your professional network and work with an assigned peer mentor.
- Interview for the Finance Leadership Development Program at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate-level degree in accounting or finance with a 2029 graduation date.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to attend the full FELP Summit on August 4-5, 2027, in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
- Availability to participate in the Summer 2028 Finance Internship from May through August.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Marlborough location for the summit.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork experience.
- A strong record of academic achievement and interest in the medical technology industry.

- The FELP Summit takes place in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
- Internship placements are available in Marlborough, Massachusetts, or Maple Grove, Minnesota.
- The internship follows a hybrid work model, requiring onsite attendance at least three days per week.
- The FELP Summit is unpaid, while the Summer 2028 Finance Internship is a paid position.
