About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program designed to help students develop solutions for complex, multidimensional problems. You will work in a team environment that simulates a startup accelerator. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship from senior leaders and solve problems using company products and engagement models. The summer ends with a final Challenge Cup competition where you will present your project solution to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Develop a breakthrough idea or solution for a customer's pressing problem.
- Work within a team to address specific project challenges.
- Collaborate with other interns to build your solution.
- Present your final project at the Challenge Cup competition.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python in a professional, academic, or internship setting.
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively in groups.
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
