About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program designed to solve complex, multidimensional problems. You will work in a team environment that simulates a startup accelerator. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship from senior leaders and use Booz Allen products to address customer challenges. The experience concludes with a Challenge Cup competition where you present your work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Develop a breakthrough idea or solution for customer problems.
- Build technical skills through hands-on project work.
- Collaborate in a team to solve specific project challenges.
- Participate in the Challenge Cup competition.
- Present findings and solutions to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- You are scheduled to obtain a Bachelor degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Winter 2027, Winter 2028, Spring 2027, or Spring 2028.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in academic or internship settings.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
