About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Quality team at Bombardier. You will work on analyzing and resolving quality issues that impact suppliers, manufacturing operations, and cross-site activities. The position is based in Dorval, Quebec, for the Winter 2027 term and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Use data analysis tools to spot trends, suggest corrective actions, and assist in business decision-making.
- Create and present quality metrics, reports, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Join cross-functional teams to solve technical and quality concerns.
- Help conduct internal audits and monitor compliance with quality system requirements.
- Contribute to projects focused on operational excellence, site compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to meet project objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Aerospace Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Fluency in both French and English, in both spoken and written forms.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present your findings clearly.
- A proactive mindset with sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies like Lean principles, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, or structured problem-solving is an asset.
