About the role#
This internship is a 12-month position based in Mississauga, Ontario, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Final Assembly Line team, focusing on the structural integrity and safety of aerospace components. This is a full-time, paid, hybrid role.
What you'll do#
- Perform stress analysis and evaluations on aerospace structures and systems.
- Work with stress engineers to interpret data and suggest design modifications.
- Resolve issues regarding structural performance and safety.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Use software tools such as NASTRAN and Hyper Works to conduct simulations.
- Organize in-house stress tools and reference materials.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineers to support project success.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Understanding of engineering principles and mechanics of materials.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) techniques.
