About the role#
Bombardier is hiring a Project Management Intern for Production Support for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. You will work in a hybrid capacity for a duration of 4 months. Please note that this position is open to current students only, not new graduates. You may be required to travel outside of Canada occasionally for work or training purposes.
What you'll do#
- Support the deployment of a tooling management project.
- Evaluate and propose optimization and standardization opportunities.
- Manage and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across various operations.
- Develop project strategies covering scope, resources, deadlines, costs, quality, risk, training, and communication.
- Handle project change requests.
- Help resolve problems and create remediation plans to meet delivery deadlines.
- Create performance indicators based on project progress and internal processes.
- Coordinate with multi-functional teams including Production, Warehouse, Methods, Industrial Engineering, and Quality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of your academic program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- A genuine interest in managing a project through every stage of its lifecycle.
