About the role#
This internship at the Marcel-Laurin plant in St-Laurent is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work in a hybrid capacity to support operations and process improvement. Please note that this position is open only to current university students, not new graduates. You may be required to travel outside of Canada occasionally for training or work purposes.
What you'll do#
- Manage small and medium-term projects and track their progress.
- Analyze non-quality data and suggest corrective actions.
- Work with manufacturing teams to improve process efficiency.
- Solve management issues using IT solutions.
- Identify production needs and remove non-value-added activities.
- Analyze production performance using key performance indicators.
- Optimize autonomous maintenance processes.
- Support managers in their daily operations.
- Develop and improve production tools and processes.
- Audit processes to ensure they function correctly and provide recommendations.
- Participate in various executive committees.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program related to the field.
- Strong analytical and synthetic thinking skills with the ability to assess the impact of strategic decisions.
- Experience with Catia and SAP.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
