About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the internal legal team at Bombardier. You will gain insight into the role of in-house counsel within a global publicly traded company while working alongside business and legal professionals. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide legal support to internal departments including Sales, Contracts, Marketing, Communications, and Flight Operations.
- Draft and assist in the negotiation of commercial agreements, such as licensing, marketing, pilot services, and confidentiality agreements.
- Conduct legal research in areas including commercial, contract, private international, and privacy law.
- Present research findings to the legal team through written memoranda or oral presentations.
- Support the due diligence process for international clients to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program leading to a law degree. This position is open to students only.
- Canadian citizenship or valid work authorization for full-time employment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, with strong English writing skills.
- Experience with reviewing, drafting, or analyzing contracts.
- Experience conducting legal research and writing clear, concise legal memoranda.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and an interest in commercial law.
- Knowledge of the aerospace industry and availability for an internship extension are considered assets.

- Location: Dorval, Quebec, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Duration: 8 months.
- Note: Interns may be required to travel outside of Canada occasionally for training or work purposes.
