About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support operations at our Pointe-Claire site. You will work on manufacturing processes and production planning during the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position requiring a hybrid work arrangement.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain manufacturing technical sequences and precedence.
- Analyze cycle times and establish critical cycle times.
- Determine optimal line balancing for specific production rates.
- Calculate manpower requirements including workcenters, crew types, and shifts.
- Assess production capacity regarding equipment and personnel.
- Develop daily production schedules and charts.
- Gather and maintain manufacturing data such as loads, footprint, and capacity.
- Help establish production standard times.
- Create detailed value stream mapping.
- Organize workcenters to improve human and material flow.
- Manage production sequence changes.
- Support and lead improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Project.
- Logical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy.
- Leadership, initiative, and a collaborative team mindset.
- Patience, perseverance, and curiosity.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.

- Location: Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Note: This role is open to current students only. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
