About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Government and Industry Affairs team to support community outreach, policy research, and general office administration. This role is based in Dorval, Quebec, and operates on a hybrid schedule. Please note that this position is open to current students only.
What you'll do#
- Support the community affairs program and team activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor government policies and industry initiatives, providing concise summaries to the team.
- Develop research projects focused on public policy.
- Help coordinate logistics for industry events and site visits.
- Process sponsorship requests and organize meetings.
- Prepare briefing materials and provide administrative support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program related to political science, public administration, international relations, or social sciences.
- Fluency in both French and English, in writing and orally.
- Experience in the private sector or government relations.
- Knowledge of the aerospace industry and the Canadian political system.
- Ability to monitor news media and social media platforms for relevant developments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with MailChimp and Asana is considered an asset.
- A capacity to adapt to new work environments and manage competing priorities.
